The power of God’s Word is released in our lives at the point we hear and do. Oftentimes, the word “hearken” is used throughout the Bible. This archaic word means to listen with the intention of obeying what is heard! In Matthew 7, Jesus gives a parable of two builders. Both heard the Word but only one heard and did - and the one who took action built an unshakable home.
